Kisa Adkins Baskin, Global Environment Compliance Program Manager; Newell Brands Inc.
Kisa Adkins Baskin is the Global Environmental Compliance Program Manager for Newell Brands. Her primary focus is operational compliance at Newell's manufacturing facilities and distribution centers. She also supports Newell's Senior Environmental and Regulatory Counsel with mergers and acquisitions, product regulatory compliance, and emerging regulatory issues.
During her time at Newell, Mrs. Baskin developed cross-functional partnerships with other corporate functions including Sourcing, Safety and Health, and Risk Management.
Ms. Baskin graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science from Marshall University. She began her career as a regulator for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, followed by several years with CH2M focusing on management system development and multi-media auditing. She joined Newell Brands in 2010.
Gregory Bopp, CHMM, Director Compliance Assurance; Honeywell Aerospace
Mr. Bopp has over 25 years of HSE experience, having worked in a range of industries including electronics, consumer packaging and now aerospace. He has expertise in on the topics of air emissions control, industrial waste water treatment, chemical substitution, plating, cleaning technology, industrial property remediation, environmental site assessments, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, RCRA, OSHA, DOT, FAA, and NFPA. Mr. Bopp received a bachelors degree in chemistry from theUniversity of Illinois.
Rachel Degenhardt, Head of Global Services; Enhesa SA
Rachel Degenhardt is Head of Global Services at Enhesa, with responsibility for ensuring the quality of all EHS regulatory services provided to international businesses. This includes assuring the accuracy and comprehensiveness of all regulatory content, as well as ensuring timely and efficient delivery of such content via all platforms. As the Team Lead for North America, she focused on content development and regulatory reporting for all issues impacting the environment and health and safety in the United States and Canada. As leader of the North American Team, she held responsibility for developing content, ensuring accuracy in regulatory analysis, participating in compliance audits, and delivering exceptional content to clients.
Rachel has extensive knowledge of regulatory law internationally and in the United States and Canada. Before joining Enhesa, she served in the public sector as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Tracy Christopher and in the private sector as litigation associate at Tucker, Taunton, Snyder, and Slade in Houston, Texas.
Kristen G. Dickey, Compliance Services Lead; WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff
Kristen Dickey is the Compliance Services Lead for the Environment business at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff. She is a certified professional environmental auditor and has more than 17 years of experience completing environmental compliance audits and due diligence projects for clients of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff. Ms. Dickey is responsible for ensuring technical excellence and growth in WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff's Due Diligence, EHS Compliance and Management Systems, and Insurance Risk Control services. Kristen holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Allegheny College. When she's not working, Ms. Dickey enjoys the outdoors of Colorado with her husband and 3 daughters.
Kristen Duda, Vice President; CH2M
Kristen Duda is a vice president and professional engineer with CH2M's Chicago office. With over 12 years of experience in environmental compliance, management systems, and auditing, Kristen possesses in-depth industry knowledge which she has translated into highly successful environmental strategies for large, multinational corporations in thein the manufacturing and defense sectors. Kristen holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Steve Groseclose, Senior Director, Risk Management, Sustainability & Real Estate; Global Foundries U.S. Inc.
Steve manages a global organization responsible for setting corporate direction and ensuring operational performance at fab sites and office locations throughout the company. Specific areas of responsibility include Environmental, Health & Safety; Business Continuity & Crisis Management; Security; and Real Estate growth management. Before GLOBALFOUNDRIES Steve was Director of Environmental, Health & Safety at AMD, where he was involved in the creation and spin off of GLOBALFOUNDRIES, as well as site selection and project management of the project that became Fab 8 in Malta, NY. Steve serves as President of the GLOBALFOUNDRIES-Malta Foundation. He has a master's degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. He earned bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and German from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Taylor Gelsinger, Research Analyst; NAEM
Taylor Gelsinger is a Research Analyst at NAEM. In this position she oversees NAEM's research program, facilitating and analyzing industry-wide benchmarking of the EHS and sustainability profession, NAEM Corporate member benchmarking and research reports on emerging issues.
Prior to joining NAEM, Ms. Gelsinger worked with Trinity Consultants, where she assisted with Life Cycle Assessments for Trinity clients, developed new client markets and strengthened Trinity's internal sustainability doctrine.
She received her Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, focusing on Environmental Economics and Policy. As part of her master's project, Ms. Gelsinger assessed sustainability standards, certifications and regulations of the freight trucking industry in order develop an online help desk for Green Plus clients. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Oklahoma State University.
Chris Herrmann, Director of Environmental Health & Safety; Carlex Glass Company
Chris Herrmann is currently the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Carlex Glass Company and has oversight responsibility for 9 locations across the U.S. and one in Europe.
Chris is a graduate of the Occupational, Health & Safety school at Murray State University and has 23 years of progressive experience in the Environmental, Health & Safety field. Past and current positons held in heavy construction, environmental remediation, automotive, aerospace, engineering, consulting and commercial & consumer goods manufacturing sectors. Chris has held positions managing world class EH&S programs at both small and large sites, union and non-union work environments as well as at the corporate level in divisional, regional and global roles. He is a highly skilled certified lead assurance auditor of EH&S management systems including corporate programs, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001 and OSHA VPP.
Shawn Hopkins, Regional HSE Leader & Global Behavior & Culture Leader; Procter & Gamble Co.
Shawn Hopkins is the North America Fabric, Home, Chemicals, Beauty & Grooming Regional Leader in Procter & Gamble (P&G). He has 22 years of operations, engineering and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) experience with P&G. Shawn has 3 years of experience in environmental engineering and industrial hygiene in the Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine as an officer in the United States Army. Shawn is a key member of HSE leadership for P&G and leads Global Behavior and Culture and GHS Operational Capability for the company. Shawn's previous roles include Kansas City Site Engineering Leader, Amines Operation Department Manager, Kansas City Chemicals Engineering Technology Leader, and Norwich Plant Pharmaceuticals Packing Process Engineer. His experience across making and packing technologies in engineering and operations has developed his practical application of HSE programs, design requirements and culture.
Kent Kading, Vice President, Global EHS Consulting Services; AECOM
Kent Kading has joined AECOM's environment business as vice president, global director of EHS management consulting. Based in Seattle, WA, Kent has 26 years of environmental engineering management and business development expertise, and technical, regulatory program and operational understanding and experience with industry and government organizations. His career includes senior management positions and national directorships with major environmental and engineering corporations CB&I, The Shaw Group, IT, EMCON and ENSR.
Kent's industrial sector EHS compliance and auditing leadership experience spans AECOM key markets in manufacturing, oil & gas, power & utility, aerospace, construction, retail, as well as US Federal (Army, Navy, Air Force) and government organizations. He has also served as national client program account manager for Fortune 500 infrastructure, manufacturing, industrial technology and natural resources companies.
As director, Kent will oversee AECOM's global EHS management consulting technical practice ensuring delivery excellence of comprehensive compliance, auditing, due diligence/M&A support and related EHS services, and focus on strategic growth. Kent holds an MS and BS in Chemical Engineering from San Jose State University, and a BS in Applied Mathematics.
Megan Lum, Director, Environment, Transmission; Pacific Gas & Electric Co.
Megan is privileged to lead a team of about 50 professionals, who provide environmental compliance support for the company's gas and electric distribution, fleet, materials management and real estate operations. In this position she is continually learning about the various aspects of management of change.
Ms. Lum is a registered professional engineer and was one of the original ISO 14001-certified auditors. She is a member of NAEM's Board of Regents and is also a Senior Life Member of the Society of Women Engineers, for which she has served on the Board of Directors and is currently active in their public policy committee.
She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in chemical engineering from the University of Windsor and an Executive MBA from the University of Washington.
Jeff McCormack, Audit Manager - Environmental, Management System, and Product Stewardship; Georgia-Pacific LLC
Jeff has over 26 years of environmental management experience and joined Georgia-Pacific in May of 2011 where he is Audit Manager in the Corporate Compliance Audit group focusing on Environmental, Management Systems, and Product Stewardship audits. Prior to joining Georgia-Pacific in 2011, Jeff worked in the Corporate Audit group of Honda North America where he was responsible for providing environmental auditing and management support to Honda companies and affiliated suppliers in North America. Jeff has 10 years of plant environmental manager experience with Honda of America Manufacturing at the Anna Engine Plant and Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering in 1990.
Tim Meyers, Global Facilities and EHS Leader; GE Aviation
Tim has 35 years of industrial experience, with over 27 years at GE Aviation. Tim has held various leadership roles with increasing responsibility, including Structures EHS Leader, Evaluation Engineer CF34-10E, Nozzles & Shrouds Repair owner at ACSC, Customer Technical Training & Facility Leader in Commercial Operations and most recently Evendale Facility Operations, Global Facilities and EHS.
Tim has been married for 30 years and has 3 children, one who is Supervisor at GE Aviation. He has held various leaderships roles in his community including being elected to (2) terms as Fairfield City Councilman, Co-Chairman of Children's Hospital Kindervelt, Chairman of Butler & Hamilton County Boy Scouts of America and served as Chairman of Parks and Recreation Board for 16 years.
Tim has a BS in Industrial Engineering Technology from Illinois State University, an MBA from Xavier University and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt through GE.
Paul Narog, Manager, Corporate Environmental Operations; 3M
Paul Narog is manager of Environmental Operations in 3M's corporate Environmental, Health and Safety Operations organization.
He has worked in a variety of roles in the environmental field, with specific focus on air emission control, environmental permitting and compliance management, regulatory advocacy, and stakeholder communications. In his current position, Narog manages a department of environmental professionals responsible for regulatory compliance management, corporate governance programs and pollution prevention. He also manages sustainability professionals with responsibility for corporate-level sustainability strategy, publicly stated sustainability goals, cross-functional sustainability initiatives, customer and stakeholder engagement, and external reporting and communications.
He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
Dave Roberts, EHS Growth and Risk Leader; General Electric Co.
Dave has been with GE for 28 years, with experience in aviation, appliances and GE silicones, and is currently on the GE Corporate US Regional Team. He is a certified black belt, and also has experience in operations and HR.
Outside of work, Dave is on the Board of Directors for the International Aerospace Environmental Group, and is a member of the Advisory Board for Hoxworth Blood center in Cincinnati. He enjoys rowing and coaching Odyssey of the Mind competitions.
Dave holds a bachelors in engineering from the University of Michigan, and masters of engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
Kelvin Sanborn, Digital & Analytics Leader, EHS; General Electric Co.
Kelvin Sanborn is the Digital & Analytics Leader for Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) at GE. In this role, he is responsible for managing GE's EHS data, providing EHS analytical insights to manage risk, and leveraging emerging technologies like wearables, machine learning, and robotics improve outcomes.
Kelvin joined GE as a member of the EHS Operations Management Leadership Program for GE's Aviation business. After completing the program, he held 3 other EHS leadership roles at manufacturing operations and within GE Aviation business headquarters team. Kelvin graduated with a degree in Environmental Engineering from Tufts University.
Andy Schneider, Corporate Manager - Safety & Health; Caterpillar Inc.
Andy Schneider is the Corporate Manager for Safety & Health at Caterpillar Inc. He previously worked for OSHA, and has been with Caterpillar since 1995, where he has held roles of increasing responsibility for EHS. He currently provides leadership and support for Caterpillar's global safety and health program, and manages the North American regional EHS support program. Andy is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, and a Certified Safety Professional. He holds a bachelors of biology from the University of Arizona, and a masters in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Central Missouri.
Matt Schroeder, Division Environmental Manager; Charter Steel Inc.
Matt is the Division Environmental Manager for Charter Steel, a Division of Charter Manufacturing Company. a Division of Charter Manufacturing Company. Since joining Charter in 2001 Matt has held roles of increasing responsibility for environmental compliance and protection. In his current role Matt is responsible for maintaining all of Charter's environmental programs including ensuring that all facilities are certified to the ISO14001 management standard.
Matt has a BS in natural resources from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and has also studied environmental management at Marquette University.
Matt lives with his wife Tracy & daughter Eden near Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Allen Stegman, General Director, Environmental and Hazardous Materials; The BNSF Railway
Allen M. Stegman is General Director Remediation and Environmental Programs for BNSF Railway and has 25 years of experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety field.
At BNSF, one of the largest transportation providers in the United States as well as one of the largest landowners, his core responsibilities include remediation and environmental liability management, emergency response, data/document management, acquisitions, divestitures, metrics and project controls.
Prior to joining BNSF, Allen was the Director of Safety and Environmental Affairs for a global chemical company and has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with an option in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Missouri.
